In loving memory of Ron Pearson—our founder, husband, and friend (2014 – ∞).
“When there’s a will, there’s a way.”

Ron Pearson was more than a leader;

he was a visionary, a mentor, and a man of unwavering determination. Born in Germany and raised as an orphan, he turned adversity into motivation. At 15 he began a painting apprenticeship, later served in the military, and in 2014 founded Pegasus Painting & Waterproofing. Ron built Pegasus on simple principles: take care of people, do the work the right way, and keep your word. Under his guidance, Pegasus became known for high standards, innovative techniques, and a dedication to training the next generation. He believed in mentorship and skill development, creating opportunities for crews and apprentices to learn, grow, and lead.

Ron’s words still guide our everyday work:

“Suck it up, make it happen, and work through it. It is worth it.”

“There is a future in this trade because there is always something to build.”

His impact goes far beyond the projects he led. Ron fostered a culture of excellence and camaraderie where every person is valued and every job is done the right way; safely, professionally, and with pride. His legacy lives on in the people he mentored, the careers he shaped, and the values he instilled. The (2014 – ∞) after his title is intentional; his vision continues in every Pegasus project.
